| Paying Tribute to Moms Around the World: A Survey for Moms by a Mom
Hi, there! This survey is designed to aid in the research of finding out the major challenges and concerns along with the triumphs common to mothers--all mothers. I happen to be a mommy who works full time at a paid occupation, but have complete and TOTAL respect for mommies who stay at home with their children. I'm fortunate to know a diverse pool of moms who stay at home with their kids, and others who work part time at a paid job, or do what I do. Everyone respects each other.
Making judgments about individual decisions has NO PLACE in my circle of friends OR this research.
I am interested in finding solutions and empowering my sisters in motherhood. It has been my experience that two heads are better than one. So just imagine the impact of many heads! :-) So whether you fall into the category of paid employment, single mom, partnered mom, married mom, stay-at-home mom, young mom, mature mom, or any logical combination of the above, your voice very important. There are no right or wrong opinions. And your responses are 100% confidential. The only rules I ask that you follow is that you be respectful in your commentary. Ranting and raving is okay, so long as there are no ad hominem attacks toward a different lifestyle from yours in the process. The results will be compiled in an aggregated, anonymous form, like the outcome of a recipe comprised of many ingredients. A quote may stick out that moves me, and in that case, I would *paraphrase* the experience so no one is singled out. If you'd actually like to be quoted, we can talk further so that the context is appropriate before publishing. If you're interested in the report or would like to be quoted explicitly in at least one area, please email me at cdickson@power-edsolutionsinc.com. Thanks so much for participating!--Carol Dickson-Carr |

| 12. Mommies tend to never stop worrying about their children to some extent, but some youth issues are hot buttons because you have seen things first hand. Please check four youth issues that apply for you (even if they may not apply now because they're either too young now, or you've already "been there and done that" with your children). Please LIMIT your choices to your top four. * |
